Leading a team of more than 100 engineers in the US, Europe and India, Byreddy delivers cloud services and video to consumers. He’s making the process even better, recently reducing the time of delivering new VOD content to subs by 50%. He also helped develop a patent-pending, automated distributed test software system that gives better results in a shorter time. If there was a reality series based on his office, “it would be called ‘A Day in the Life of VOD Assets’ because I spend a significant amount of my day helping to deliver the most amount of content to Spectrum customers.”
What’s your best advice to someone just entering the video content/distribution industry?
Have patience, work hard, and try to understand that change is the only thing that’s constant.
What’s been the most dramatic change in your sector of the business today vs. three years ago?
The most dramatic changes I’ve seen in the industry in recent years would be the number of options customers have to stream content and the amount of content that’s available for customers to stream.
If there were a reality show based on your office, what would it be called?
It would be called “A Day in the Life of VOD Assets” because I spend a significant amount of my day helping to deliver the most amount of content to Spectrum customers.
