Hopkins has led unprecedented growth at Prime Video and Amazon MGM Studios, the latter of which he guided from acquisition to integration last year. Recent hits include “Air,” the studio’s first wide theatrical release; “Creed III”; the miniseries adaptation of “Daisy Jones & The Six,” which earned nine Emmy nominations; and Freevee comedy series “Jury Duty,” which nabbed four Emmy noms. He’s also augmenting the sports playbook—2023 marked more viewership gains for NFL Thursday Night Football on Prime Video. Beginning in 2025, Prime Video will be the exclusive home of five NASCAR Cup Series races, and Hopkins oversaw deals for Premier Boxing Champions and National Women’s Soccer League matchups.
