Santos continues to create paths for minorities in cable at Myx not only through the network’s programming and executive roster, but by speaking out on vital diversity issues, going so far as to pen an empowering op-ed encouraging Asian Americans to “break the bamboo ceiling” in entertainment. Santos feels much progress has been made in terms of diversity, but there journey is far from over. “Cable TV is a lot more diverse than the film industry,” he says, “but cable still has a long way to go.”
