Marc Juris

Since becoming the head of BBC America three years ago, Barnett’s ambition has driven the network to its best year ever. 2017 saw BBCA achieve its most-watched month, quarter, season and year in both total viewers and A25-54. Barnett wasn’t afraid to enter into new spaces either, bringing World Darts Championship to the network. The program became the highest-rated darts tournament of 2017. She also celebrated an Emmy win for “Planet Earth II.” BBCA original “Killing Eve” has started 2018 off in a similar fashion, finding critical success. Caserta developed a similar reputation as president and GM of IFC, where she shaped a successful programming strategy and the network’s overall brand identity. She was so pivotal in deals with Funny or Die and comedy events company Levity Live that she was just promoted to chief transformation officer for the company. Juris has continued to bring success to WE tv with fresh unscripted originals. Series like “Growing Up Hip Hop” and “Braxton Family Values” have allowed audiences to connect with the network and feel a sense of community. 2017 saw WE tv becoming the No 1 cable network with African American women and adults on Thursday nights.
