HGTV’s real estate lineup has another hit in “Love it or List it,” based largely on the remarkable back-and-forth between its two hosts, Realtor David Visentin and designer Hilary Farr. The two compete for the homeowner’s ultimate decision: he tries to find them an all-new house, she renovates their current house to try and get them to stay put. The competition is friendly and sometimes contentious, but the true genius of the show is that no matter which host wins, the homeowners always feel like they came out on top.
