Griffin oversees budgeting, long-range planning, forecasting and financial reporting for Turner nets. Aided by a team of finance professionals, she also provides strategic support for network execs to assist them in achieving business goals. Based in Atlanta, Griffin is extremely active in her community through various volunteering efforts as a member of NAMIC, WICT, and NABA. She cites TNT’s “The Last Ship” and TBS’ “Angie Tribeca” as examples of diversity in program ming. Looking beyond Turner, she says, “I believe the producers of ‘Suits’ and ‘Arrow’ deserve high marks for creating enjoyable shows that feature minority actors and actresses in key roles.”
