Lisa Mundy

Mundy is the driving force behind OpenVault’s new Profile Management Application, which has the critical role of allowing broadband providers to optimize available capacity and ensure strong resiliency for their DOCSIS 3.1 networks. She’s successfully executed dozens of field trials with Tier 1 operators in North America, Latin America and Europe and goes the extra mile by participating in sales calls and working with other departments to offer her PMA expertise.

“The next major disruption for the industry will likely stem from the increasing impact of climate-related disasters, which pose serious challenges to customer service, operational stability and recovery efforts. Cable operators will need to allocate larger budgets for recovery and preventive measures, ensuring their infrastructure can withstand extreme conditions like intense heat and flooding.”

What’s a skill you’re currently working on? (work-related or non-work-related) The work-related skill I’m focused on developing is embracing the concept of “failing faster.” I’m working to reframe failure as a crucial part of growth—reminding myself that when I encounter obstacles or feel the urge to procrastinate due to a fear of failure, it’s a signal to acknowledge it quickly and leverage the support of my team. I don’t have to handle everything on my own; tapping into my team’s strengths can lead to faster progress and learning.
