Pan’s expertise in multiplatform distribution ensures Sundance Now and Shudder SVOD services are out in front of the fastest-growing audience—streaming consumers. Both services more than doubled subscriptions during the past year, a nod to her tripling the slate of new content premieres as well as expanding distribution and marketing partners for both. She also greenlit Sundance Now’s first scripted original series, dramedy “The Chances.” Pan says, “We are in the midst of a sea change in how content is being distributed and consumed by consumers driven by tectonic shifts in technology, distribution, and access.”

What industry topic do you think will dominate industry headlines in 2018 and why?
What will “Television” look like in 10-15 years? We are in the midst of a sea change in how content is being distributed and consumed by consumers driven by tectonic shifts in technology, distribution, and access. I think we will continue to talk about what will happen to traditional linear television in the face of these large-scale changes.

What is one way the industry can continue to evolve in ridding itself of gender discrimination?
Be comfortable with continuing an open, honest and candid dialogue about what diversity means, and how do we as an industry, and as leaders and managers, continue to support diversity in the workplace.

Best advice for relieving stress?
