Leslie Furuta

Pop has been on a roll lately and the job of sharing its story falls to corporate communications and media strategy maven Furuta. She’s the primary spokesperson for the network, overseeing communications, content promotion and publicity, talent relations and special events. Furuta sticks close to home when it comes to one of her favorite female characters: Moira Rose in Pop’s “Schitt’s Creek.” “She’s fiercely funny and fabulous, played by the brilliant Catherine O’Hara,” she says.

Who is your favorite current female TV character and why?
Moira Rose in “Schitt’s Creek.” She’s fiercely funny and fabulous, played by the brilliant Catherine O’Hara. Elisabeth Moss in “The Handmaid’s Tale” is undeniably captivating and another one of my favorite actresses (I also loved her as Peggy Olson in “Mad Men”).

What famous woman, living or deceased, would you like to have dinner with?
Princess Diana

Best advice for relieving stress?
Spending unplugged time with my 7-year-old daughter Skylar (no iPhone multi-tasking allowed) and making time to meditate/practice yoga at least three times a week.
