Three years ago, Comcast’s process to book and track media across various divisions had grown inefficient, failing to keep pace with the company’s continuing growth. Enter Justin Morgan, who approached the problem holistically and decided that rather than fixing a series of separate problems one by one, the smarter approach was to identify crossover, combine the solutions and create one Message and Traffic System to handle it all. After an exhaustive and face-to-face campaign to get buy-in from the stakeholders, the new MTS system was a rousing success, increasing efficiency and decreasing errors.
