Under Gauder’s leadership, the region has expanded Comcast’s retail presence by opening more than 15 new stores over the past two years, creating hundreds of jobs in the area. Gauder also led the California team’s response and recovery efforts during the devastating wildfires in Northern California in 2017, 2018 and 2019. During last year’s Comcast Cares Day, he joined nearly 1,000 Northern California Comcast NBCU employees and their families, friends and community partners in working to beautify Paradise High School for its first graduation ceremony since the horrific Camp Fire in the fall of 2018.
