Most unusual use case for broadband? This is difficult to narrow down. There are so many ways in which broadband can enable “action at a distance.” I think one of the more entertaining aspects has been nature-watching. I got my mother a Bird Buddy bird feeder last year and she loves getting push notifications about the range of birds, squirrels and deer visiting her yard.
The last thing I ordered on Amazon? A new light for video conference calls. I do think we are all a little vain when it comes to how we look on camera.
Last concert attended? Sum 41, Tour of the Setting Sun at Red Rocks, Colorado. There simply aren’t many venues that can match the incredible views and rich character of Red Rocks. And, the band, Sum 41, is still as edgy and full of energy as they were when I first heard them. I do like to think that art imitates life.
What is the most recent book that I read? I love audiobooks and “read” three to four a month. The most recent non-fiction book that I listened to was “Revenge of the Tipping Point” by Malcolm Gladwell. I like hearing a new perspective on a topic I thought I already understood, and Malcolm Gladwell has such a unique manner of presenting information.

What’s a red flag in a business meeting? Blaming. As soon as an individual or a team starts blaming someone else for issues, cost overruns, or delays, the meeting becomes unproductive. Business meetings should be spent solving problems or defining issues to be solved. Spending time trying to determine blame never helps to advance the conversation… or the business as a whole.
Most beautiful place visited? I have been fortunate to visit a number of picturesque locations. I just recently experienced the most spectacular sunset from the top of a volcano overlooking a cloud-filled valley in central Guatemala. I had no expectations when I went there, and I was completely blown away.
