A member of the Cox family since 2000, Allbaugh oversees the company’s Rhode Island, Connecticut and Ohio markets. He’s been instrumental in the opening of the company’s new Solutions Stores, which offer customers a range of service including technical support and live demonstrations of new products, and the launch of the “Tech Boost” program devoted to improving the lives of children and families through technology-driven education to empower them to better futures.
Biggest gamechanger to come from 10G? It is my hope that 10G opens the door to new ways to educating our children and providing amazing, advanced health care, especially for the elderly.
What quality do you look for when promoting someone? The ability to connect with peers is an essential aspect of becoming a leader, and authenticity is the bedrock of those relationships.
How do you stay motivated in your job? The daily issues are many, from field operations challenges, to community endeavors, legislative matters, and motivating our leaders—rarely are two days the same. I’m energized by the prospect of galvanizing the efforts of our team to execute well daily and look forward to the next day’s challenges.
