Disney helped fans connect to “High School Musical: The Musical: The Series” episode 205: “The Quinceañero” by hosting a screening to preview the ep, which sees Carlos (Frankie Rodriguez) thrown a surprise Quinceañero by his boyfriend Seb (Joe Serafini). There were more than 5,000 guests who RSVP’d—including 100 domestic and international press outlets, influencers, members from GLAAD, Latino Equality Alliance, Mas+ and Disney Pride along with internal DBT and Disney+ employees and fans. Highlights included trivia with the cast and an exclusive performance from the world’s first LGBTQ+ mariachi band, Mariachi Arcoiris.
