Hallmark Channel is a master at finding new ways to promote its annual “Countdown to Christmas” tradition. Last year, it partnered with Club Wyndham to develop three immersive, custom-designed holiday suites: Classic Hallmark Channel Christmas at Club Wyndham Midtown 45 (New York City), Snowy Mountain Christmas at Club Wyndham Resort at Avon (Vail) and Country Christmas at Club Wyndham Nashville (Nashville). Christmas lovers found out about the special one-bedroom suites during a “TODAY” reveal by Hallmark star Holly Robinson Peete. The suite featured amenities such as fully equipped kitchens for cookie-making and separate living and dining spaces adorned with festive décor, as well as an ornament crafting station, hot cocoa station, gingerbread house kits, wrapped presents under Christmas trees and, of course, a Hallmark Channel holiday movie collection (popcorn and candy included!) for the ultimate binge-watching session. Each suite even had a scent machine to fill the room with guests’ favorite holiday bouquets, plus a floor-to-ceiling backdrop of a Hallmark Channel movie to create the perfect Instagram shot. Sixty different two-and-three-night stays were available to book from Nov. 12-Jan. 1, selling out in less than seven hours on the first day of their release. The partnership was covered by major news outlets and received more than 4 billion impressions.
