How many companies have you worked for? Five, if you include two tours of duty in the federal government, but I was always destined to work at GCI.
Boredom buster? Thankfully, I’m not bored often. Unfortunately, when I am bored, I tend to reach for a box of Girl Scout Thin Mint cookies. It’s not a healthy boredom buster, but it is a delicious one.

The phrase “digital divide” will go away when… If you want to close the rural-urban digital divide, you need to think big … really big … whenever possible, and push the technology, whether it’s fiber or microwave or something else, to its maximum. I’m incredibly proud that in 2021, GCI brought 2 Gig cable modem service to two remote rural regional hubs in Alaska – Nome and Kotzebue. Stay tuned. There’s a lot more to come.
