There’s nothing Spellmeyer wouldn’t do for ACAC members, and the last year has been a fight as he steps up to ensure no one in Washington forgets the small- and medium-sized operators. ACAC worked together with Cartesian to release an updated guide to the BEAD program in January featuring a national analysis and state-by-state breakdown on how a combination of BEAD funding and matching funds from providers could lead to a fully connected America. Spellmeyer has also been a vocal opponent against the FCC’s renewed look at regulating broadband as a Title II service and a proponent of pole attachment reforms and shifts to the retransmission consent regime.
