WGN America’s Gone trailer grabs you so instantly it feels like a bit of a magic trick. The show’s central premise concerns an elite task force attempting to recover people who have been abducted while the trail is still warm. Chris Noth is instantly engaging as the veteran FBI investigator, but we are also immediately introduced to Leven Rambin’s character, a former abductee whose dark past gives her insight into the minds of the predators they’re pursuing. All of this is established in the opening seconds, and from there on it’s a rush of intense imagery set to epic music that compels the viewer to find out as much as they can about this show.
