ESPN+ continues to be a leader in the digital sports arena, and all others are trying to catch up. New long-term deals with the NHL, PGA Tour, LaLiga, Wimbledon and more have meant the future is only getting brighter for ESPN’s digital properties, and ESPN+ streamed more than 27,500 live events throughout 2022. Most notable in 2022 were the debut of NHL Power Play on ESPN+ as well as the first-ever exclusive NFL game on the platform.
