Discovery’s affiliate marketing team partnered with Altice on its mission to help the communities it serves. The two conducted a bus tour, doling out 2,500 co-branded backpacks and 125,000 school supplies at various events across the operator’s footprint. A few months later, the companies held more events to deliver 3,000 overstuffed backpacks to schools. Employees from Altice and Discovery as well as several government officials, including Sen. Richard Blumenthal (D-CT) and New Rochelle Mayor Noam Bramson, were on-site.
