Arroyo leads a group of attorneys and staff with responsibility for legal matters in support of the worldwide functions including litigation, ethics and compliance, intellectual property, regulatory affairs, data security and privacy and ratings research. He played an important role during Discovery’s acquisition of Scripps, and oversaw the Justice Department’s clearance of the merger, and since has been busy helping oversee the integration of the two companies’ systems, policies and procedures. He also recently finished a four-year term as chairman of the board of LatinoJustice, formerly the Puerto Rican Legal Defense and Education Fund.
