Kalvort’s truly a jill-of-all-trades, helping one of the largest Spanish-language broadcasters in the country expand its marketing reach with the creation of digital marketing division Digidea and creating the “Mujeres Exitosas” awards for TV, which honor successful Latina businesswomen. Never one to sit still, she recently started delivering AI consultancy and digital strategy solutions.

What’s a skill you’re currently working on? (work-related or non-work-related) I’m honing my skills in using AI to create impactful talks that center on how this technology can drive change. My aim is to share these insights on platforms like TED and beyond. I’m focused on making AI accessible, engaging, and transformative, especially for underserved communities and in sales environments where it can greatly enhance efficiency and effectiveness.

What podcast do you recommend for current and/or aspiring leaders? I highly recommend “The Knowledge Project” by Shane Parrish. It offers deep insights into decision-making, personal growth, and leadership through interviews with thought leaders across various fields. Each episode dives into practical strategies and fresh perspectives that current and aspiring leaders can apply to become more effective and intentional in their personal and professional lives.

What do you believe is the next big disruption facing the industry? The next big disruption in our industry will be AI’s transformative impact on personalized media and advertising. As AI advances, it will shape hyper-targeted, real-time content experiences that anticipate user needs across platforms. This shift will demand both new skill sets and strategic adaptation, redefining how we connect with and engage audiences on a deeper level than ever before.
