Zarghami has steered a steadfast ship during a year of change at Viacom, including the June departure of longtime Nickelodeon content chief Russell Hicks. Multiplatform activations remain a priority in her continued goal of enabling young viewers and their families to interact with Viacom brands wherever, and whenever, they want. She’s also making a play to bring preschoolers in to the fold early—with a doubling of Nick original preschool content in the works—as well as breathing new life into legacy brands, with TV movies based on “Hey Arnold!” and “Legends of the Hidden Temple” headed into the pipeline.
