The number of IoT devices on the market is growing, but it’s still not always easy to connect them with your network routers. To break down those barriers, Aptilo designed a solution with an Amazon Web Services IoT core that enables the device to securely fly on to the WiFi network when it’s switched on for the first time and every time after. Aptilo’s Zero-touch Connectivity service leverages Hotspot 2.0 and Wi-Fi Alliance’s Passpoint while also supporting legacy WiFi equipment and devices. Aptilo can also verify if the device is active and collect input to form connectivity policies.
