Cori Abraham

Oxygen has Abraham to thank for its successful rebrand and shift toward crime programming. She helped develop series such as “The Disappearance of Natalee Holloway,” “Cold Justice” and “The Jury Speaks,” and already is scoping out more buzzy crime programs that will resonate with the network’s growing female audience. Even the ever-enthusiastic, high-energy Abraham occasionally needs to recharge. “For me it is running or hiking,” she says. “Any situation where I physically cannot answer the phone or read an email keeps me sane.”

Who is your favorite current female TV character and why?

Claire from “Outlander” is an inspiring real modern woman who retains dignity and grace throughout the ages. No matter what century she is in, she demands respect and manages to save the day all while being surrounded by a sea of men.

Best advice for relieving stress?

It is crucial to find something that can charge your battery. For me it is running or hiking. Any situation where I physically cannot answer the phone or read an email keeps me sane.
