TV One went all out to celebrate those that lift up others in their roles. It granted local organization Black on the Block $5,000 for its efforts to give minority businesses a platform by hosting a monthly vendor market. The programmer then hosted a panel discussion focused on different CEOs and boss women who bring authenticity to their roles and organizations every day, including LaLa Milan and Black on the Block founders Lanie and Char Edwards. A private screening of an episode of “Boss Girl’s Guide” followed.
