When you marvel at the intensity and excitement of ESPN’s content across platforms, you can largely thank Connor Schell. Promoted to EVP in June, Schell oversees all event and studio production including the iconic “SportsCenter” and “Monday Night Football.” Not only that, but Schell helps shepherd ESPN Films, whose critically acclaimed “30 for 30” series continues to change the game for sports documentaries, and he was an executive producer of the company’s first Oscar-winning film “O.J.: Made in America.” It’s almost as if Hall of Fames were made for people like Connor Schell, and his experience, dedication to excellence and reputation makes him more than suited to enter ours. We can only imagine what he’ll achieve as he continues what we’re sure will be a long career in TV.
