Martin keeps busy with iBox, which provides digital media consulting services for content providers and distributors. She’s especially in high demand given the company’s specialization in metadata and content discovery. Martin founded the company in 2004 and has a roster of clients that includes NBCUniversal. When it comes to gender discrimination, she believes the media industry can have an immediate impact on culture. “Some great examples are the #LikeAGirl campaign and the Geena Davis Institute on Gender in Media,” she says.

What is one way the industry can continue to evolve in ridding itself of gender discrimination?
