Since becoming the head of Comcast Business in 2006, Stemper has grown the unit from $265 million in revenue to $6.2 billion in 2017. As of Q2 2017, his 8,000 employee reports were supporting 2.1 million business customers, a number that is continuously growing as Comcast Business continues investing in its network. Herrin was plenty busy in 2017, with his organization growing to include the national customer service operations, technical operations and the CIO and his team. Through the growing pains, he helped Comcast through one of the largest deployments of the Net Promoter System. He and his team were also responsible for the launch of RealTime Assist, a personalized messaging platform that provides customers with information on issues while saving them time. Herrin is excited for the possibilities to come in 2018 with advances in AI technology and the opportunities to continue to develop proactive and personalized support that delivers the best support to Comcast customers.
