From the closure of CBS Sports buildings in March to the cancellation of conference basketball tournaments, management adopted the mantra “we’ll get through this together.” The efforts the CBS Sports leadership team is going through to not only keep their team informed, but connected and energized sets an example for every other manager out there. The mix of uplifting content from talent and a Master Class series composed of online Zoom classes that give employees the opportunity to learn directly from experts in their chosen field, gives staff an opportunity to focus any nervous energies on their personal growth, thus giving them a sense of pride at a time of uncertainty.
