Brian Monihan

Years in Cable: 18 in cable, 35 in television

Education: Boston College; University of Michigan

Maybe it was his mom telling him not to listen to radio sportscasts (see Q&A) as a youngster, but Monihan wants to make sure Philadelphia sports fans have something to listen to so he championed the return of the “The Mike Missanelli Show” to NBC Sports Philadelphia. There are legendary lineups in the City of Brotherly Love, but Monihan’s favorite is his daughter’s ice hockey team. The devoted dad has traveled worldwide to see her play.
