What does your company/organization do to ensure all employees feel included?
Charter recently launched five Business Resource Groups (BRGs), which are voluntary affinity groups for employees with similar interests and backgrounds to advance their professional careers and contribute to Charter’s business success. This program is one way Charter helps ensure an inclusive environment.
Can you share a successful diversity program at your company or one you’ve observed at another company or organization?
The Emma Bowen Foundation and the T. Howard Foundation have made important contributions to promoting diversity and inclusion in the media and entertainment industry. Charter proudly supports both foundations. Along with advocating for under-represented groups and communities in the industry, Emma Bowen and T. Howard develop strong pipelines of young talent and emerging leaders. For example, the foundations’ internship programs have connected talented young people to Charter, allowing us to develop the next generation of diverse leaders in our industry.
