What does your company/organization do to ensure all employees feel included?
Diversity and inclusion are truly the DNA of REVOLT, the basis on which our content company was founded in 2013. Unapologetically we deliver on our principles of diverse content that is representative, from a team that is equally represented—across age, gender, ethnicity, sexual orientation and religion. I am so proud and reminded daily at Revolt of this—in the way we celebrate all holidays, outreach for diverse and representative content, and in how we nurture and encourage growth and inclusion of all. We all deserve to be supported and recognized.

How can diversity be better incorporated into the recruiting process?
Diversity must be authentically engrained throughout all areas of a business. It must be part of the culture and cultivation, rather than an initiative.

What questions is are the industry not yet asking in its efforts to be more diverse and inclusive that it should be?
There must be greater awareness of ALL pillars of diversity, that should include: diversity of workforce, education and equal pay of that workforce, vendor & supplier diversity. Honest conversations must take place about the importance and positive implications of not only a diverse workforce, but diversity in our lives. We are better as a collective that embrace our differences.
