As a voracious reader of newspapers, chairman Block had to take pride in the company’s Pittsburgh Post-Gazette winning the 2019 Pulitzer Prize for its coverage of the tragic shooting at Tree of Life synagogue. He also should be pleased with the reputation Buckeye has developed as an urban/suburban provider. Toledo-based Buckeye is the only independent company that is the primary cable, phone and broadband service provider in a major metropolitan city.
