With proms cancelled all across the country because of the pandemic, ABC created a month-long press blitz for the three shows prom-themed episodes that included an at-home prom box, complete with an instant camera, snacks, king and queen sashes and crowns and a “Prom-posal” invite to tune-in. In addition, 116 mailers were hand delivered to all members of the senior class at William Penn Charter School in Philadelphia, the alma mater of “Goldbergs” creator Adam Goldberg.
