After 32 years, the Discovery’s affiliate marketing for Shark Week is down to a razor-sharp shark tooth. Discovery Channel’s 2020 Shark Week Affiliate Promotion tool kits included taggable tune-in spots, key art, social graphics, and shark facts and trivia that affiliates were able to easily plug into their marketing. The result was a shark feast, with Discovery Channel the top cable network during prime for Shark Week with people 25-54 and 18-49.
