William C. Beaty, Jr.
Title: EVP, Cable TV and Affiliate Relations, Comporium
Years in Cable: 41 years
Education: BA History, Presbyterian College
Best Advice in 7 Words or Less: Keep learning and never look back.
Beaty has led Comporium to winning numerous awards from Cablefax, most recently the prestigious Operator of the Year just this last July. Described as a “true southern gentleman,” he always maintains his cool even during heated negotiations and is able to navigate the waters as a telco in the video business with few ripples. Communications runs in the family as his father founded the first ever radio station in Rock Hill, S.C.: WRHL.
If I had a show on YouTube it would be called… “The Day-to-Day Lives of Bill’s Grandchildren”
I wish Congress would just… update antiquated communication law.
