Wendy Wilson

Wilson, who’s leading the team focusing on HSD, wireless, voice and IntelligentHome service, played a key role in the advanced technology group overseeing HSD products and programs, managing the development of all customer-facing product offerings and back-end technologies, as well as the product lifecycle from concept through deployment. Her inspiration at work comes from her team. “I continue to learn so much from each of them,” she says.

What’s the most important aspect of mentoring?

You need to be ‘in it’ for the long haul. It takes time to build a solid foundation from which both parties (mentor and mentee) can grow and flourish from the experience together.

What/who inspires you at work? What/who inspires you outside the office?

At work, my team. I have the great fortune of having an awesome group of individuals that make me look good each and every day. I continue to learn so much from each of them. Outside of work, I draw inspiration from so many…from my husband and parents, friends and my children.  They each add so much to my life and inspire me to keep perspective and enjoy every moment.  Life is too short not to enjoy it.

Your favorite trick for unwinding?

Head to the pool for a nice long workout in the H2O…nothing better to clear the mind and burn a few calories at the same time.
