Kemka’s wheelhouse is the development and execution of technology strategy for DISH and Sling TV, including the management of product roadmaps, video, online, mobile, broadband and user experiences. He oversees DISH Anywhere for Hopper and Sling customers, which allows live, recorded and VOD content to be watched on-the-go from various devices. And recently, his team was behind HopperGO, a personal mobile video drive that lets customers access their recorded content anywhere, anytime—with no Internet connection required—through the creation of its own private wireless cloud.

How do you keep yourself and your team engaged and informed on the changing multiscreen universe?

We are a team of gadget geeks who love to test new technology. We stay on top of multiscreen developments through hands-on experimentation with the latest products out in the market. My team and I are constantly brainstorming ways to create new multiscreen entertainment experiences and enhance the existing tools available.
