Vicki Marts

With more than 30 years at Cox under her belt, Marts has tried a little of everything, rising from service technician all the way up to digital services supervisor. Then in 2000, Marts was promoted to Master Telecommunications Center manager, in charge of all the headend, hub sites and optical transport nodes across Kansas. She has served as Region 5 director on the SCTE board of directors, where she also acted as Western vice chair. How does she stay grounded? “Crazy days happen no matter what industry you’re in and just like scuba diving, remember to keep breathing,” she says.
