Cabrera is an out-of-the-box thinker when it comes to expanding the distribution universe for AMC Studios IP, and never has that been more evident than in recent AMC Studios headlines. For one, in the spring, Charter and AMC Studios entered a deal to co-produce original programming for Charter customers. For another, Cabrera established AMC Networks’ first-ever platform to merchandise content, AMC Studios International Showcase, which is a crucial B2B tool to maximize sales. She also instituted the first-ever media rights management system for the business, which streamlines information for AMC Studios’ potential content for sale, and completed a first-ever deal for the domestic distribution of “The Walking Dead” in Spanish. She continually cultivates new relationships with the goal of opening all new streams of revenue for the business.
