Trisha Cardoso
EVP, Corporate Communications, Showtime Networks
Cardoso oversees global public and media relations initiatives for Showtime Networks, its multiplex channels and the network’s OTT streaming service, but her role extends from publicity and media relations to event coordinating and corporate branding. This year she helped usher in Showtime Networks’ new CEO David Nevins via major features and cover stories. Her efforts have solidified Showtime’s reputation as a top premium cable network. While she says the majority of cable sectors already reflect a solid gender balance, Cardoso adds, “That said, it would be refreshing to see more women leading major cable companies.”
