Melton has segued Turner’s marketing strategy to a “social by design” business that connects viewers to the shows they love. She’s recently overseen campaigns for several of TNT’s original series, helping the network chart more Top 10 shows in 2013 than any other network. Accolades include TNT winning a Cannes Gold Lion honoring a “Ewing Oil” promotion touting the season premiere of “Dallas.” For the promotion, TNT took over a gas station in Manhattan, rebranded it Ewing Oil and slashed prices at the pump. Now that’s something that’ll get consumers to take notice.
