Lopez’s track record with original movies at Lifetime is not too shabby. “The Craigslist Killer” and “Amanda Knox: Murder on Trial in Italy” were the No. 1 and No. 2 movies on basic cable among women 18-49 and women 25-54 when they premiered in early 2011. More recently, “Taken From Me: The Tiffany Rubin Story” got an Emmy nod in the Outstanding Lead Actress category. The challenge, she says, is to generate enough buzz “to fit the brand and break through the clutter.” Her escape from all the noise is the great outdoors: “Hiking with my girlfriends in Telluride, where we can get away and wander – figuratively and literally.”
