Jamieson heads up A&E’s scripted dramatic programming out of Los Angeles. She’s been behind network hits like “The Glades” and most recently the series “Longmire,” the net’s No. 1 original drama series of all time among total viewers and adults 25-54. Cable is a great place for professional women to thrive, she says. “As this CableFAX forum aptly demonstrates, cable is chock-full of women in variety of prominent positions. I certainly don’t get any sense of any ‘old boys network’ in cable.”
