Iyer is charged with growing the business for Asia TV USA’s channels, a task that includes both traditional carriage and digital distribution for wellness lifestyle channel Veria TV and the Zee Channels, catering to the expanding South Asian audience in the U.S. “Now digital platforms are aggressively returning consumers to power; the consumer is once again king,” he says. “The emergence of robust digital media has subverted the paradigm and created new challenges and opportunities for Zee.”
