Ruyle secured distribution renewals with multiple MVPDs—with better terms and long-term revenue growth—and recently locked in the independent net’s first SVOD deal. She and her team also expanded Pivot’s availability on college campuses—now 50 and growing—in order to reach its millennial audience. Ruyle is proud to work for a company “whose mission is to inspire change in the world through socially relevant content.”
What’s the most important aspect of mentoring?
Getting involved and being available. Making the time to connect and listen can really make a difference to someone.
What/who inspires you at work? What/who inspires you outside the office?
I am fortunate to work for a company whose mission is to inspire change in the world through socially relevant content. I am inspired by our programming and films which serve to educate, entertain and compel action to make the world a better place.
My kids are a daily source of inspiration… their observations, questions and interactions with the world around them continually challenge and inspire me to also observe, question and grow.
Your favorite trick for unwinding?
Depends on how much I have to unwind! I love going to the movies and if logistically feasible will take in a double or triple feature. A Macallan, one rock, also does the trick.
