McMahon’s vision and commitment are keeping WWE top of mind for fans of pro wrestling and the sport’s superstars. A force both behind the scenes and in front of the camera, she oversees brand extensions across platforms. She no doubt is focusing on WWE’s new partnership with ESPN, where the latter will air a weekly WWE wrap-up, as well as less traditional endeavors, including a new initiative teaming with the Texas Lottery for a WrestleMania scratch ticket game, with revenue supporting Texas public schools. Then there’s the OTT WWE Network that’s currently available in 175 countries.

What/who inspires you at work? What/who inspires you outside the office?

WWE has the greatest fans in the world and they inspire me every single day. Our mission is to put smiles on people’s faces the world over, whether we do that through our entertainment programming or by giving back to the community. Whether I am performing on our show, giving a keynote speech, or in Executive meetings, providing our fans with the best possible experience is always at the forefront of my mind. Outside of the office, I am inspired most by my three daughters. I want to be able to teach them to believe in themselves, to know their value and self-worth and to know that anything is possible if they work hard enough.

What is the best trick for maintaining the personal-professional life balance?

The word “balance” can be misleading. Work/life balance will never be 50/50, it will be constantly shifting. One of my tricks to making it work is to be 100 percent present in the moment, whether I am at work or at home.

What is your favorite trick for unwinding?

Health and fitness is extremely important to me. I unwind by making time to work out at night after my children go to bed.
