With new media consumption platforms emerging at an unprecedented rate, it helps to have someone like Chang in charge of keeping up. Since launching HBO Now exclusively with Apple in 2015, Chang helped expand distribution of the standalone subscription service to Amazon, Roku, Google, Xbox, Android and PlayStation. She takes pride in the diverse makeup of her team. “Diversity is defined by more than race, ethnicity and gender,” she says. “My team is made up of individuals whose experiences vary across industries, who approach problems differently, who have different educational histories, and whose skills balance one another.”
