Sherita Ceasar

Ceasar has led the national launch of Comcast’s cloud TV service giving millions of customers recording and playback capabilities to their TVs and second screen devices. The exec has also contributed significantly to the creation of a diverse candidate pipeline for Comcast. As part of that effort, she brought Comcast together with FIRST, a non-profit group dedicated to encouraging adolescents to be science and technology leaders, and Comcast is making its largest donation ever to FIRST this year.

What’s your biggest professional accomplishment in the past 12 months?

My biggest professional accomplishment in the past 12 months is leading my deployment team in support of the national launch of Comcast’s cloud TV service giving millions of customers recording and playback capability to their TV’s and second screen devices.

How do you define diversity?

I define diversity as valuing everyone differences and being inclusive in our interactions as we work together to achieve the business goals.  We all bring different life experiences to the table when working together to create or solve problems.  It is through our differences that we can learn from each other and build even better experiences for our customers.

How do you define success?

I define success as making tangible and positive impacts on the business and the people you engage along the way.  We are all capable of growing and learning in every role we take on.  There are good and bad lessons that we should and/or would not repeat as we move through our career.  Successful careers have stories we can tell about the experiences, lessons and impact you had.  In reflection, success is a collection of goose bump moments in the accomplishments you achieved.
